Signing of the Book “History of the Judiciary in the UAE” at the Abu Dhabi Book Fair

Dr. Abdul Wahhab Abdool, President of the Federal Supreme Court, signed suc book, The History of the UAE Judiciary in Ancient Times, at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

The book addresses a topic that has never been explored before, as it delves into the history of the UAE judiciary during ancient times, covering three distinct periods: the Stone Age, the Bronze Age and the Iron Age.

In the book’s introduction, Abdool states, “Judiciary is a vital necessity that humanity cannot do without, as the instinct for survival and stability calls for it.” Abdool highlights that the judiciary in the UAE is as old as the Emirati people themselves and, like other judicial systems worldwide, has undergone evolution, transformation and adaptation over thousands of years.
