Haytham Abdalla oversees trade litigation at the firm. He assists clients with disputes under domestic, regional and international trade agreements, and provides planning, implementation, assessment and defense of domestic measures, and unjustified compliance issues. During Haytham's practice in the UAE, he has represented claimants and defendants in over 600 complex trade disputes. 

 

Haytham started practicing in 1999 in Sudan and in 2010 started practicing in the United Arab Emirates.

 

In 2011, Haytham was appointed by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry and granted rights of audience by the Sharjah Courts to litigate on behalf of the Chamber, making him one of the few expats who have held rights of audience in UAE. 

 

In 2012 Haytham entered into private practice at top-tier Emirati firm overseeing their commercial litigation matters: Haytham also oversees intellectual property disputes as part of the firm's trade litigation practice, he has represented domestic and international parties on some of the most prominent landmark decisions in the UAE, for both accused/committed infringers and rights holders.
